As your first prayer indicates, I prayer for guidance and instruction around the Kakilame rhythm and landed on your site. God is truly amazing! I am grateful for this tutorial which is so basic, yet so profound. I especially appreciate your generosity in offering this information at no cost. I know that you have and will continue to receive your rewards. Thank you so much!!
Djimbee lesson
The basics tips you give on this site is very helpfull for a beginner like me. I would like to learn more and I thank you to help me learn. If you could add more lesson I would appreciate.

Djimbee Sample
Well, he sample is just OK...but the problem is with all 3-4 of them beating the drums, the bass-effect is feeble, less or none at all. Bass effect I mean the 'heavy beat sounds' from the Centre of the drums....without this the rythm lacks a lot by way of weight on the 'runs'. One could consider a lot of 'thumbs effect and off-beats' - thumbing to restrict the play area and consequential 'Tap-Top' tones and successive 'bassing beats at centre of the drum head'.....A lot of things and tricks do esit in all such and similar 'hand-beaten drum instruments' - as that of Conga Beats, Thoomba Beats, Bonga Beats......
Jembe tutorial
Johnny... you are so genuine and I admire your adventurous spirit. I especially appreciate your djembe lessons. I just got a great djembe and am determined to learn as much as I can... in searching the web, I came across your site - IT'S THE BEST tutorial I have yet to see. Your teaching technique is superb - the graphics and animation are just too good. Your spiritual and philosophical take on life is wonderful - live it! Thank you for this terrific gift you have given us. Poster Subramaniam must have cheap hardware & cheap speakers. I got perfect full-range sound. It was flawless. Peace, Robert F
